{Names of Jesus} Printable Cards

November 29, 2011 By: amyswandering2 Comments

{We are not doing a project with this until next week. I will update with pics!}

I want to incorporate the Names of Jesus into our celebration this year. I have pictured in my mind some kind of garland. Maybe we will cut them out with scrapbook scissors & glitter them up a bit.

Here are some ideas for your Names of Jesus cards:

    • choose one each day & look up the scripture (25 in all)
    • decorate a small tree
    • add to a garland or wreath
    • run a ribbon through the tops and make a banner
    • hang from the ceiling with fishing line

You can download your Names of Jesus cards HERE**

Please share your ideas for these in the comments!!  If you do a project with them, leave a link & I will post it for everyone to enjoy!

{This is part of the December Advent Countdown Box}

**The spacing on the last page looks a little wonky, but it prints correctly.

Slowly but Surely

November 29, 2011 By: amyswandering2 Comments

Rather than doing it all at once, I am going to start posting the different parts to this year’s December Advent Countdown Box.

Don’t worry! I will tie it all together at the end.  : )

Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Meal

November 21, 2011 By: amyswandering2 Comments

**Update: Ha! You’d think I would learn to check the dates more carefully. It doesn’t show until Thanksgiving night – that was an old schedule.

Watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving has a been a tradition for as long as I can remember. (And not on DVD, thankyouverymuch!)

I saw the CUTEST idea on Facebook this morning: re-create the Peanuts Thanksgiving meal while you watch the show!

{If I figure out which blog it was, I will give credit.}

These are the dishes at the meal:

  • toast
  • popcorn
  • pretzels
  • jelly beans
  • ice cream sundaes

Make it authentic by tossing (paper) plates at each member of the family!

If you don’t want to do the whole dinner, make some Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Dinner snack mix.

I will try to remember to take pics tomorrow night when we have our “meal”. ** See Update
