My name is Amy & I’m a 40-something stay-at-home Mommy. I have been married to my best friend for 20 years and I am so very, very thankful that God has allowed me to experience such an amazing partnership. I homeschool 5 beautiful children- dd 15, dd 14, ds 10, dd 8, and dd 4. We also have a ds who is Forever 4 – he beat us Home 12 years ago after a courageous battle with leukemia – in our eyes he won the battle.
We are in our 11th year of homeschooling and love it.I would describe our school as eclectic with a twist of Charlotte Mason. I love finding fun & free educational resources to share on my blog. You will find me wandering around the internet and sharing the best with you!
I am so excited to see where this blogging path takes me. Come on along and journey with me!

I am looking for an article on, The feast of St. George. I am wondering if you wrote it. If so, could you let me know, how to find it. My son chose St. George for Confirmation and I would like him to read this article. Thanks.

Hi there!
I don’t really know where to sent or post this, hope this is okay?
My name is Kelly and I am from South Africa. One of our 11 official languages are Afrikaans. So I have translated the booklet for you. I am not very good with computers so I will just write you English sentences and underneath each line the Afrikaans sentence.
The best Christmas gift!
Die beste Kersfees geskenk!

Angel Gabriel announces to Mary, who was engaged to be married to Joseph, that she will give birth to God’s Son. She was to name the baby, Jesus
When Mary is soon to give birth to God’s Son, Joseph and Mary travel to Bethlehem to pay taxes.
When Joseph and Mary arrive in Bethlehem, there is no room for them to stay in the inn. That night, Jesus was born and laid in a manger
Toe Josef en Maria in Bethlehem aankom, was daar geen blyplek vir hulle by die herberg nie. Daardie nag is Jesus gebore en neergelê in ‘n stal.
An angel tells some shepherds about the birth of God’s Son.
‘n Engel het aan die herders vertel van die geboorte van God se seun.
The shepherds are excited! “Let’s go see this special boy!”
Die herders was so opgewonde! “Kom laat ons die spesiale seuntjie aanskou!”
Wise men from the east follow a star to find the great king that has been born.—God’s Son!
God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth to show everyone in the world His great love for them!
Ask Jesus to bring God’s love into your life today!

Hi, I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost a son to Burkitts Lymphoma on December 9th of 2010. He was 18 years old. In his memory we have started a not for profit to help families with seriously ill children. I am the mom of 7 beautiful children. This is my second year of homeschooling two of them. I sure can use all the help I can.
