My Love Language

December 30, 2011 By: amyswandering2 Comments

Those orange & yellow stickers make my heart go pitter-patter.

It takes very little to make me happy  😉

A Savior is Born

December 24, 2011 By: amyswandering1 Comment

For unto us a Child is born,
      Unto us a Son is given;
      And the government will be upon His shoulder.
      And His name will be called
      Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
      Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Merry Christmas!

Christmastime is Here

A-Wise-Woman-Builds-Her-Home
What We’ve Been Doing Instead of Blogging:

Playing with Nativity Sets

Setting Up a Snowy Village

Having Fun at Christmas in the Park

Creating Gifts for the Birdies (and the Great-Grandmother)

Making Goodies for Daddy’s Customers

{White Chocolate Peppermint Popcorn}

{Candy Cane Pretzels}

{Butterfingers}

And One for the Mailman

Cleaning Up the Aftermath **sigh**

Building Snowmen {the best we can do in Texas}

I am still working on being a YES Mom, so I have concentrated my time this CHRISTmas season on making memories with my kiddos.

Too many times in the past I would post wonderful ideas for you to browse, and never get around to actually doing them with my own bunch.

So here it is … no links, no tutorials, no edited photos … just pics of family fun.

Maybe by next Christmas I will have it together enough to post AND enjoy my family? Don’t hold your breath 😉

Stocking Stuffer Traditions

December 19, 2011 By: amyswanderingcomment

When my kiddos were little bitty, I decided to tuck toothbrushes into their stockings. They needed new ones…it was a cheap & cute filler…and thus a tradition was born.

Last year was a little tricky. My older girls were 13 & 12, so cartoon characters weren’t going to work any more.

I went on the hunt for something cute and discovered Oral-B Pro-Health For Me. There is a whole line of Pro-Health For Me products.

They have fun designs without being “baby-ish”.

Oral-B has an adorable line of brushes for little ones too.

Toss in a package of floss picks while you’re at it.

Tell Me: What do you put in your kid’s stocking year after year?

I was given free Oral-B products to share with friends via Mommy Parties. No compensation was given for this post, and all opinions are my own.
