At the beginning of the school year, I created some monthly planning notes to give me a creative overview of our year. They have worked so well that I want to share them with you!
I wanted to be able to schedule out seasonal themes and activities, but a monthly calendar wasn’t giving me enough space. My planning notes are broken into weeks with plenty of room for writing.
A few of the things I list in my notes:
- the week # (so I can coordinate with our school calendar)
- our weekly Funschool theme
- letter & # of the week for my preschooler
- holidays
- field trips
- craft ideas
