Summer School for Mom 2017

I had this great idea last year to plan a summer school for mom. I automatically go into planning mode towards the end of the school year, and can easily spend the entire summer researching curriculum and assembling courses if I’m not careful.

I decided to do something to further MY education during the summer while my kids are out swimming or hanging with friends. Take a look at my 2017 summer plans! [Read more…]

Summer School for Mom

We only have 5 weeks of school left, and let me assure you that we are counting down every day! Our last three summers have been a little out of the ordinary, so we are looking forward to a real break.

When June arrives and my kids are spending the day in and out of the pool, I shift from teacher mode to student. I try to catch up on the ebooks I want to read, learn a few blogging tips, and gather new ideas for the next school year. [Read more…]

Teaching Your Kids to Value Life

Teach Your Kids to Value Life with Wonderfully Made

Our goal is to have adult children who value the sanctity of life. We start when they are toddlers, telling them about how God created them and that babies are a blessing. As they get older, we look into the intricacies of the human body and marvel at how God’s design for pregnancy and birth are so amazingly complex. [Read more…]

I’m Making Over My Mornings

June 1, 2015 By: amyswanderingcomment

I am NOT a morning person. Over the years I have managed to get up at a somewhat-early hour, but my mornings are not productive. Too often I just sit and enjoy the silence because my brain is not ready to engage. I do have my Bible reading time each morning, but no set plan after that.

I am determined to learn how to use my morning time effectively this summer. It is a shame to waste the only part of my day that is wide open to whatever I want to accomplish. My first step to productive mornings is Crystal Paine’s new Make Over Your Mornings course.

Most of you probably know Crystal from her Money Saving Mom site. I have been reading her blog for YEARS and love her Godly wisdom.

I just started her new 14-day course. (My first assignment is to let someone know I am committed to the course, so there ya go!) There is a short (15 min or less) video each day and some worksheets to go with each one.

My notes from the first day:

  • It is not a series about getting up early, but about using the first hours of your day wisely.
  • Using your mornings effectively adds up to a life well lived.
  • Start your day with peace, purpose, and order so you can bless those around you.

Tomorrow, Tuesday the 2nd, is launch day for the Makeover Your Mornings Course. It is being celebrated with ridiculously low prices!

The Crazy-Can’t-Miss-Low-Low-Low Launch Sale Prices:

  • 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. ET on June 2, 2015 – just $5!!!
    {This is worth getting up early for!}
  • 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. – just $7!
  • 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. – only $10!
  • 5 p.m. – 12 a.m. – only $13!

Will you be participating in Make Over your Mornings? Leave a comment below and we can help keep each other accountable!

I received a free course as a member of the launch team. No other compensation was given. As always, I only share my honest opinion.
