it’s beginning to sound a lot like christmas

For those of you in the DFW area, radio station 103.7 fm is playing ’round the clock Christmas music. I’ve been listening to it for over a week & driving poor Hubby crazy. LOL He thinks it should be illegal to listen to it until the day after Thanksgiving.

So what do you like? The earlier the better, wait til after Thanksgiving, only in December, or not at all? LOL, on second thought, just don’t even tell me if you dislike Christmas music – I don’t want to know!

wfmw – cheap christmas craft magazine

November 14, 2007 By: amyswandering5 Comments

I picked up this adorable craft magazine for $1 at Michaels Arts & Crafts store. It is filled with over 100 cute, easy crafts like this, this, this, this, and this. To make the deal sweeter, there are two coupons inside – 20% & 25% off your entire regular priced purchase. I found mine at the register, but if you don’t see it just ask!

wfmw – holiday scented laundry

October 24, 2007 By: amyswandering5 Comments

wfmwheader_12.jpeg

Last week I shared how I scent my home for the holidays, so this week I thought I would take it a step further – the laundry!

I’ve been a loyal Downy user for 15 years, so last summer when I received a free sample of Snuggle Wild Orchid & Vanilla Kiss I just stuck it up on the shelf. One day last October I ran out of Downy so I tossed in the Snuggle sample. I could not believe how yummy the laundry smelled as I took it out of the dryer – it smelled just like Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar products!!

We had our first cool spell this week so I ran to the store yesterday to get my Snuggle. (Don’t worry Downy, I’ll go back to you in January, I promise!)

Run on over to Rocks In My Dryer for tons of great tips.

Tips I want to remember:

Fruit of the Spirit Chart

Shower curtain w/pockets gotta get one of these!

Labeling storage containers
