homework review

The Old Schoolhouse has published a wonderful e-book called HomeWork: Juggling Home, Work, and School Without Losing Your Balance. Whether you need to supplement your income, or just want a little extra spending money, this book is full of ideas from families of all sizes for blending a home business with home education.

Each family shares how they got started, what a typical day looks like, and how much their business brings in each month. I loved the wonderful tips for including your children in your home business.  A bonus at the end of each chapter is a link to that person’s website. It helps to get a complete picture of each business.

The last section of the book is about keeping  your work-at-home business organized.  Learn what documents to keep, how to design a spreadsheet, and what to do at tax time.

I give the format of this e-book a big thumbs up! It fits perfectly on my computer screen without me having to scroll up and down to read a page.

I’m very thankful for the chance to review HomeWork: Juggling Home, Work, and School Without Losing Your Balance and recommend it to anyone looking for some creative ways to work and school from home.
