valentine fun

February 14, 2008 By: amyswandering2 Comments

I know many couples go out on Valentine’s Day, but we’ve always spent it with our kiddos. They make our love complete and it just wouldn’t be as fun without them. Here is what we are doing today:

We are making these cute hanging hearts for the dining room.

I’m giving each child a Valentine Spinner.

For dinner, we are having our new family favorite.

We’ll end the day the same way we do every year – with a giant heart box of chocolates!

So how , & with whom, do you celebrate?

blah blah blah blah

February 12, 2008 By: amyswandering4 Comments

That’s about all I have to say  LOL.  I don’t know what the deal is, but my brain is mush right now.  I think I have overworked it lately – we are trying to get our house ready to sell, planning a youth group retreat, and I just started teaching two classes for our homeschool CO-OP.  There’s no room left in there for brilliant blog posts.  HA!  Thankfully, things are slowing down a bit and I actually have some things to share with you in the coming days. I want to introduce you to our little friend Aaron, whom we sponsor through Compassion International, and let you know about some exciting things going on in bloggyworld through this organization. Stay tuned!
