Ann of Holy Experience, one of my favorite blogs, started this list about a year ago. I’ve been waiting for November to arrive to start mine – it just seemed like the perfect time to begin listing the many blessings I’ve been given. I am going to start looking at my world through new eyes to see all the wonderful gifts He has showered upon me.

Please pray for Ben & Becky Powell, the parents of baby Ethan. They have received some bad news and he is struggling. It is hard for me to read the posts, yet I must. Their faith is so strong and they are praying for a miracle – but their bodies are weak & tired. I still vividly remember the physical & mental exhaustion from our Elijah’s battle with Leukemia. You wonder how you can go on but you keep fighting. I know they are on their knees begging for their child’s life…and I wish I could be there with them. We’ve never met but it wouldn’t matter, we are connected. Please petition the Father on their behalf.
Last week I shared how I scent my home for the holidays, so this week I thought I would take it a step further – the laundry!
I’ve been a loyal Downy user for 15 years, so last summer when I received a free sample of Snuggle Wild Orchid & Vanilla Kiss I just stuck it up on the shelf. One day last October I ran out of Downy so I tossed in the Snuggle sample. I could not believe how yummy the laundry smelled as I took it out of the dryer – it smelled just like Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar products!!
We had our first cool spell this week so I ran to the store yesterday to get my Snuggle. (Don’t worry Downy, I’ll go back to you in January, I promise!)
