Having been born & raised in Texas, it wasn’t until I was an adult that I discovered that not every high school girl enjoyed the tradition of tripping over a gianormous wearing a beautiful homecoming mum. My Senior year mum looked very much like the blue & white one pictured in that article. (Now they are twice as big!) Here are more examples & instructions.
Most of you are probably more familiar with a potted mum. I love putting a big basket of colorful blooms on my porch every Autumn!
