Outside my window… a beautiful sunny day

From the learning rooms… we are test-driving two math programs – ALEKS & Quarter Mile Math – for upcoming TOS Crew Reviews

I am thankful for… God’s clear direction in our school plans for the upcoming year

From the kitchen… I’m going to attempt to find the perfect whole wheat bread recipe

I am creating… new chore charts – our old ones are not a great fit with the new house

I am going… to the health food store to stock up on yummy ingredients

I am reading… Titus/ God’s Beautiful Design for Women:Living out Titus 2:5; Laying Down the Rails

I am hoping… Fall is early this year!!

I am hearing… Sweetpea trying to wake up

Around the house… I’m tackling the garage before it tackles me

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… lots of planning – daily schedules, curriculum, reviews & blog posts

Here is picture thought I am sharing…

My friend Donna took this pic of Sweetpea. We went to a hippie wedding vow renewal & I made her dress out of a vintage pillowcase that I got at the thrift store for 99 cents. LOL

    Hi Amy!

Cool blog! Loved reading your Daybook. I’m envious of your trip to the health food store—-looking forward to doing that some day soon myself! Hope you have marvelous success in finding a great recipe for whole wheat bread. I LOVE the outfit you made for Sweetpea! That is COOL. You must be a very creative mom.

    Have a beautiful week!

LOVELY dress for SweetPea! I have a great bread recipe….here’s the link http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Amish-White-Bread/Detail.aspx I just substitue whole wheat for the white and it turns out great every time! New chore charts are always so fun to create…enjoy! Sounds like all is well and full of blessings at your place and that’s always great to hear! Thanks for sharing part of your life with us!
    Blessings,
    ~K~
