Wandering through life one season at a time
And so I begin . . .
-1- five beautiful children who adore each other
-2- a husband who is one with me
-3- a cup of hot tea on a chilly night
-4- books waiting on the nightstand
-5- small blessings hidden in the everyday
-6- chocolate anything
-7- home
-8- huge snowflakes drifting down
-9- fluffy red slippers
-10- forgiveness
You may have noticed around Bloggyworld that people are naming the New Year.
Several words swirled around in my brain as I contemplated a name for my year: Glorify, Create, Joy, Simplify, Determined, Diligent
I asked God to show me what He would name my year, and He quickly answered.
{ RHYTHM }
And of course it is perfect.
I have worked hard this past year to simplify our life so that I can slow down and enjoy it. I am by nature disorganized, scattered, easily bored. Habits die hard, but little by little I have added structure to what was once chaos.
Here is what the word {Rhythm} stirs up in me:
So this is The Year of Rhythm.
~ A year of living to the beat of His heart. ~
Hopefully I can look at my life at the end of the year, God willing, and say it is so!
