Nature Discovery Gift Basket Giveaway

nature discovery basket giveaway

28 bloggers are participating in this year’s iHomeschool Network Back-to-Homeschool Gift Basket Giveaway. We want to help you start the school year with a smile on your face!

One of my family’s favorite things to do is explore the nature that is right around us. I am giving away a Nature Discovery Basket that contains all you need to start nature study right in your own backyard.

The Contents:

one small square backyard

One Small Square: Backyard – Use your senses to explore one small square at a time. This is one of our favorite series!

hands-on ecology

Hands-On Ecology – Creating a family ecology toolkit and mini ecosystems are among the many activities in this book.

port a bug

Pop-Up Port-a-Bug – This portable habitat lets you get a closer look at little critters.

waterproof bible

Waterproof New Testament (NIV) – Study scripture in the midst of His creation with a Bible from Bardin & Marsee Publishing that can brave the elements. (I am including a camo book cover for those explorers who might not enjoy pink. 😉 )

ultimate naturalist's library

Ultimate Naturalist’s Library Membership – I’m sure most of you are familiar with the Handbook of Nature Study’s Outdoor Challenges, and will share my excitement over this!

I’m also including some handy-dandy tools for your one small square:

  • flashlight
  • brush
  • twine
  • compass clip
  • specimen containers
  • travel bag (cuz the basket stays here 🙂 )

I will choose a winner on Friday, August 8th.

Great items here! Thank you so much for the chance to win. Also… I LOVE YOUR HAIR!!! Beautiful! Please don’t ever dye it. 🙂

HaHa Thanks so much! I dyed it one time in my early twenties. My hair grows fast and I had roots showing a week and a half later. I’m too lazy to keep up with that, so I decided to embrace the hair God gave me.

I quit dying my hair when I turned 50…VERY liberating! (honestly–too lazy as well to keep up with crowd). 😉 I’m a former red-head, so it’s just highlights of silver at the moment. 🙂

Btw, would love to win the basket for my “hands-on-outdoor-lovin’-boys!
