Exploring Nature with Web Cams

Years ago, when my oldest were itty bitty, we discovered our first animal web cam. We would all hover around the computer to see what animals were visiting the African waterhole on our screen.

Animal web cams are a wonderful way to observe animals in their habitats, and to explore creatures that don’t exist in your little neck of the woods. Pick a few from this list and visit at different times of the day for the best experience.

  • Butterfly Rainforest
  • Bat Barn
  • Bella Hummingbird
  • Bird Cams
  • Insect Naturecams
  • Goats Live
  • Wolf Cams
  • Save the Manatee Cam
  • Monterey Bay Aquarium
  • National Aquarium
  • Vancouver Aquarium
  • Audubon Live Cams
  • National Zoo
  • San Diego Zoo
  • Woodland Park Zoo
  • Explore Live Cams
  • Animal Planet Live
  • EarthCam Animal Cams
  • Live from the Rainforest
  • Africam

Want to have some web cam fun in your own backyard? The Hawk Eye Nature Cam has infrared night vision and is small enough to fit inside a birdhouse.
