wfmw – keep headbands from slipping

April 9, 2008 By: amyswandering6 Comments

A friend recently gave me this easy little tip to keep headbands from sliding off: simply run a line of hot glue on the underside of the headband. (Just so there’s no confusion, let the glue cool before wearing the headband!!)

Run on over to Rocks In My Dryer for some great tips.

That’s a GREAT idea! I can think of other ways to use hot glue as a “non skid” stripe, but would have never thought of that on my own. Thanks!

Thanks for this great idea, I need to know this now that Claire’s headbands are constantly slipping off of her little head!

Hope you are feeling better! I can honestly say that I am but now I am utterly exhausted! :o) Take care of you and that little one!

Does this work? I thought of it but how well does it work?

It does work! The glue grips just enough to keep it in place.
