I hate to throw anything away if it can be re-purposed into something useful!
I recently cleaned out all of our old school stuff and found some binders that were cute, but had tears along the spine.
We decided to cut both of the covers off and use them as writing boards (kind of like a clipboard, but with a pocket instead of a clip).
That left us with the rings on the spine, which is way too useful-looking to throw away. 😉
I think it could be hung on the wall with a 3M command strip. You could hang necklaces on the rings, or any type of cards on an index ring (chore cards, flash cards. etc.).
Re-using cute stuff works for me!

If you ever come across any binders with metal hinges, grab them! I have one that was discarded by my dad’s office in 1984. I covered it in calico held down with white glue. I have had to re-glue a couple times, but other than that it’s held up perfectly in 17 years of regular use!
