Autumn Adjective Poem Printables

October 5, 2015 By: amyswandering1 Comment

Free Autumn Adjectives Poem Printables

I love to add seasonal assignments into my kids’ school week. I have a couple of reluctant writers, and these Autumn Adjective Poems are an easy way to kick start their creativity. Simply fill in the blanks with words that describe the subject.

An example:

Candy!

Candy, candy, candy,

Sweet candy.

Sour candy,

Ooey, gooey, chewy candy.

These are just a few.

Hard candy,

Soft candy,

Fluffy cotton cloud candy,

Scrumptious truffle filled candy.

Nutty candy, too.

Stretchy candy,

Yummy candy,

Don’t forget gummy candy.

Last of all, best of all,

I like chocolate candy.

Set includes:

  • Leaves
  • Spiders

Free Reformation Day & Halloween Countdowns

My 6 yr. old likes knowing how many days are left until a holiday, and I like not being asked over and over how much time is left. She colors in a pic each day and knows exactly how many days are left. Download your FREE Reformation Day countdown and Halloween countdown at the bottom of this post.

The countdowns are also part of my Celebrating October printable set. It contains a nature calendar, seasonal recipe, Bible verse, vintage poetry, writing pages, vintage art, & more! See the contents HERE. You don’t want to miss it!

All About Pumpkins Master List

All About Pumpkins Master List - free resources for creating your own pumpkin unit study

I double heart pumpkins! They are so colorful and cheerful, a sure sign that Autumn is here. I like to work pumpkins into our lesson plans each October.

My goal with this All About Pumpkins Master List is to share links that will help you add some seasonal fun to your homeschool. I spent quite a bit of time searching for quality resources, instead of just rounding up every printable with a pumpkin slapped on it.
I hope it blesses your family!
