wfmw- veggie stix chips

February 25, 2009 By: amyswandering2 Comments

wfmwbannerkristen

We’ve tried some very interesting things in our quest to eat healthier. I’ve had my eye on these Veggie Stix for a couple of months & finally decided to buy a bag last night. We all hesitantly took a bite, not sure if they were going to be yum or yuck. I’m happy to report that they are delicious! They taste a lot like Munchos. I bought mine at Brookshires, and I’ll definitely be buying them again.

WFMW has a new home with We Are THAT Family, so run on over and get tons of great tips!

simple woman’s daybook

February 23, 2009 By: amyswandering1 Comment

simple-woman-daybook-small

FOR TODAY …

Outside my window… bright and breezy

I am thinking...  of ways to comfort a teething baby

From the learning rooms…we are learning about world history and God’s plan while reading A Child’s History of the World by V.M. Hillyer

I am thankful for…family close by

From the kitchen…  Cheesy Chicken

I am creating… seasonal notebooks for my magazine clippings

I am going…to mail my swap box

I am reading… Daniel & Hosea; Educating the Wholehearted Child

I am hoping… that we win the bid on the house we want to buy

I am hearing… kids playing tag

Around the house… decluttering and packing

One of my favorite things… seeing what fun stuff came in the mail

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week…get coupons filed,  go to a dollar movie, women’s ministry breakfast

Here is picture thought I am sharing…

We are waiting to see if God has chosen this to be our new home!

monster sale – hurry!

February 16, 2009 By: amyswandering1 Comment

There are some great deals to be found at The Children’s Place Monster Sale. I just ordered 7 shirts, 3 dresses and a jacket for $56.94!

Here’s what I did:

Sign in on Cashbaq. They are offering 3% back for The Children’s Place. (If you are new to Cashbaq then you get an additional $5 back for registering!)

Go to Apparel and click through to The Children’s Place website. You will see an ad for their Monster Sale in the middle of the page. Add items to your cart – shipping is a flat $5.

Use the coupon SA29 when you check out to save an additional 15%

So here’s the breakdown on my order:

  • signed in to Cashbaq and clicked through to the Children’s Place website
  • ordered 11 sale items for $67.38 (including shipping)
  • entered code SA29 and dropped my total to $58.70
  • 3% of that will be deposited into my Cashbaq account after my order has processed, bringing my order to $56.94 (and you will get another $5 if you are registering for the first time)

Hurry – inventory is very limited on several items.
