I love love love printable Advent activity calendars & countdowns. They are a simple way to add beauty to my home and they help focus our minds on what really matters during the Christmas season. I’ve gathered up some of my favorite Free Printable Advent Calendars & Countdowns for you to use with your family.

One of my favorite things about homeschooling is being able to immerse ourselves into each season.
Each time the calendar page flips we read old & new favorite books, explore the history behind the holidays, make yummy seasonal treats, practice grammar with holiday Mad Libs, and do some Funschool lessons.

This is one of my favorite events – the annual iHomeschool Network Back to Homeschool Basket Giveaways. We love to kick off your homeschool year each August!

Many of you know how much we have enjoyed Danika Cooley’s Bible Road Trip curriculum over the years. She has a brand new book out that is a wonderful resource for families. Written for ages 5-11, Wonderfully Made: God’s Story of Life from Conception to Birth is a gentle and biblical way to answer the question, “How did the baby get in Mommy’s tummy?”.
