Homeschooling Through the Seasons Basket Giveaway

August 7, 2017 By: amyswandering61 Comments

One of my favorite things about homeschooling is being able to immerse ourselves into each season.

Each time the calendar page flips we read old & new favorite books, explore the history behind the holidays, make yummy seasonal treats, practice grammar with holiday Mad Libs, and do some Funschool lessons.

(If you need seasonal homeschool ideas, I have tons of them saved on Pinterest.)

For this year’s iHomeschool Network Back to Homeschool Basket Giveaway, I have put together a Homeschooling Through the Seasons Gift Basket. [Read more…]

Grace Filled Home Giveaway

This is one of my favorite events – the annual iHomeschool Network Back to Homeschool Basket Giveaways. We love to kick off your homeschool year each August!

The theme of this year’s basket is A Grace-Filled Home. I’ve shared before about how we like to live in rhythm with the seasons by Celebrating the Everyday. This means we try and treasure each moment, big or small, and give God the glory for it all.

We mark the seasons with Bible verses, poems, crafts, activities, recipes, journal pages – really anything that adds beauty and value to our home and minds.

I’ve assembled a basket of resources to use thoughout the year. My hope is that the items in this giveaway will be a blessing to your family.  [Read more…]

wonderfully made intro

Many of you know how much we have enjoyed Danika Cooley’s Bible Road Trip curriculum over the years. She has a brand new book out that is a wonderful resource for families. Written for ages 5-11, Wonderfully Made: God’s Story of Life from Conception to Birth is a gentle and biblical way to answer the question, “How did the baby get in Mommy’s tummy?”.  It starts at conception and follows the development of the baby through the whole pregnancy. Each page contains colorful illustrations and fascinating scientific facts about the growth of the baby. [Read more…]
