FREE Celebrating September Printables

Celebrating September

Update 8/21/17 – The nature calendar is out of date now, but everything else is good to go!

I am super excited about this set! I recently came across some lovely vintage prints (I <3 vintage!) and knew they were perfect for an idea I’ve had for a new monthly printable freebie.

My heart beats to the rhythm of the seasons. I love the colors, the scents, the traditions … everything that comes with each new month. God weaves such a beautiful tapestry for us to enjoy. I hope these Celebrating September printables add a seasonal smile to your home.

The contents:

  • An easy but delicious recipe to make with your kids
  • September Nature Observation Calendar – write or draw observations each day & keep as a record to compare with next year (this can also be used for a regular calendar)
  • Autumn Countdown – ideas: color them, put a sticker on each day, draw a different face on each acorn
  • Bible verse to display in your home

September set 1

Poems:

  • A Fall Song
  • How the Leaves Came Down
  • September
  • Writing pages for copying poems, or creative writing assignments

september set 2

 Vintage prints from old books:

September set 3

Note: For best results, make sure your printer is set to borderless or whole page. I recommend printing on cardstock.

*NEW* Homeschooling through the Seasons FB Page

August 22, 2014 By: amyswanderingcomment

hs seasons

I have a BRAND NEW Facebook group called Homeschooling through the Seasons. I will be posting seasonal and holiday educational resources every day, and I’m inviting you to join & share too! Unlike a Facebook page, where you are allowed to sometimes see only 10% of what I post, a group gives us the opportunity to share ideas and learn from one another.

The Are We There Yet? page isn’t going anywhere. I will still be posting my regular stuff, but the new group allows me to share the cool links that I don’t have time to put into a blog post. Come join us and add a bit of seasonal fun to your homeschool days!

Through the Year with Pinterest

Pinterest is my #1 stop for seasonal school planning.

Using my creative planner, I like to schedule a couple of fun activities for us to do each week. If you need some fresh ideas, I have multiple season & holiday boards.

*Note: those of you viewing this in a reader or email might have to click through to view the board previews.

Take a look!
