Poppins Book Nook: Things Pirates Do

July 28, 2014 By: amyswandering2 Comments

PBN Things Pirates Do

It is time once again for Poppins Book Nook. This month’s theme is: Ye Old Pirates!

Please join in the fun with the linky & giveaway at the end!

We focused on Pirates Don’t Change Diapers, a very silly book about what happens when pirates babysit. It is the companion book to How I Became a Pirate.

Pirates Don't Change Diapers   How I Became a Pirate

Sweetpea (age 5) and I came up with an activity that resulted in turning on her giggle button! I asked her four questions, and filled in our chart with her answers. The things little kids come up with crack me up!

Quotes from other moms:

“Perfect solution for this busy mom to expose the kids to the great works of art!” ~A Moment with Mom

“No longer do you have to go searching for composer biographies,

musical pieces, learning activities, and all of the other fun things

that can be planned in a composers unit study.

Classical Composers Monthly has done all of the work for you.”

~ Melanie @A Year of Jubilee Reviews

“I especially like the multi-media content of Classical Composers Monthly

and the ease of scanning down a single page to locate the content I want to use.
