wfmw – i’m bored

June 4, 2008 By: amyswandering3 Comments

This week’s WFMW is the Mom I’m Bored edition. Here are a few fun things we’ll be doing this summer:

Go on a Nature Scavenger Hunt. Use this Egg Carton for little ones who can’t read yet.

Make a Duck Tape Bullwhip for your Indiana Jones wanna-be.

Go out on the town and Do Something Free this weekend.

Have some Watermelon Fun with all these zany patterns. Don’t forget to have a seed spitting contest!

Here are some of my favorite patterns:

wfmw- printable chore charts

May 21, 2008 By: amyswandering3 Comments

After a long search for a chore chart online, I found this one at Chart Jungle that works great for us. I filled one out for each child, put them in page protectors and we made a Chore Notebook. My kiddos enjoy looking at their chart and making sure they completed everything so they can get their monthly allowance. (They each get their age in money the last Friday of each month: 3 y.o. gets $3, 5 y.o. gets $5, etc.)

If the chart we use doesn’t work for you, I bet one of these will:

More charts from Chart Jungle

Editable chart with clip art scroll down about 1/2 way

The Idea Door has lots of ideas & age appropriate lists

Pet Care charts

House Chore pictures

Children’s Clean Room Challenge I’ve used this one – works great!

Tips I want to remember:

Family Bank

Jams, jellies & curds

Free cute blog headers

Wood saver – water marks

Fried strawberry pies

wfmw – the impossible quiz

April 16, 2008 By: amyswandering3 Comments

I came across this little online game recently called The Impossible Quiz. It’s very clever and addicting, but can also make you want to pull your hair out! There’s also an Impossible Quiz 2 if you are a glutton for punishment.
