wfmw – insanely easy muffins

June 20, 2007 By: amyswandering12 Comments

wfmwheader_12.jpeg

I came across this recipe the other morning and these are delicious!

Insanely Easy Muffins

Ingredients:

1 dark chocolate fudge or devils food cake mix

1 15 oz. can solid pack pumpkin

Mix the two ingredients together. The batter will be very thick. Pour into greased or lined muffin tin. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 12 – 15 muffins.

We like them best with devils food cake and a handful of chocolate chips. They are soooo moist & yummy!!

You can see the original recipe and nutritional content here.

Head on over to Rocks In My Dryer for tons of great tips.

Tips I want to remember:

healthy hostas

cornstarch sidewalk paint

rosemary in the fireplace

wfmw – ant bite relief

June 13, 2007 By: amyswandering5 Comments

wfmwheader_12.jpeg

I know some of you live in an area where ants are tiny little insects that go about their business, but down here in the Lone Star State they are vicious, man-eating monsters! You learn to recognize the shriek that means your child has stepped in yet another fire ant bed. I’ve come across two fairly effective forms of relief: solid deodorant or a cut onion. Immediately rub the ant bites with either one & it significantly reduces the burning & swelling of the bite.

Head on over to Rocks In My Dryer for some really great tips.

Edited to add: I use a small deodorant sampler for ant bites; you probably don’t want to use your regular one on your kids’ feet – although desperate times call for desperate measures ;o)

WFMW ideas I want to remember:

Save $$$ from my IRL friend Jill

Shopping for Barbie

Wednesday Wash Wisdom great prize drawing & tips

wfmw – cheap snack bowls

May 29, 2007 By: amyswandering5 Comments

wfmwheader_12.jpeg

My 4 kids think they each need their own snack, but I hate to waste baggies or use bowls just for popcorn & pretzels. Instead, I use coffee filters as disposable bowls. They are easy for the younger ones to hold and my sink just might stay empty until dinnertime.

Head on over to Rocks In My Dryer for some super-dee-duper tips!

I decided to start adding my favorite WFMW ideas each week so I don’t have to clutter up my bookmark folder.

Kidzeyes

soak up spills with diapers

sweet tea
